Request your way to a healthier you!
One of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions tends to be about eating healthier. Here at Request Delivery Services, we couldn’t agree more. However, we also realize how difficult it is to eat healthier especially when visiting the grocery store to shop. There are many different options and we’ll admit that we frequently prefer the unhealthier choices over the healthy ones.
To make things worse, impulse buying can sometimes take over.
Impulse buying is an unplanned decision to buy a product, just before a purchase is made.
There are plenty of ways to avoid impulse buying. Request Delivery has come up with easier ways to help you out.
Just follow the steps below and we believe that you’ll have a head start on your New Year’s Resolution.
- Look at the items you really NEED. Check your fridge and cabinets. Anything that you don’t need or haven’t touched in a while, throw it away or if it’s unopened you can always donate it. (Here’s a link to find your local food bank http://www.feedingamerica.org/find-your-local-foodbank/ or you can always give your unopened food items to your Request Delivery driver and we’ll donate it to a local food bank for you.)
- Once your kitchen is cleaned out, make a list of healthy essentials. Think veggies, fruits and protein and less sugars.
- Once your list is complete, visit www.requestdelivery.net and place your order. Send us your grocery list and we can have it delivered to your doorstep that same day. The best part about this is that you don’t have to worry about impulse buying. We will follow your list and only pick up what you requested.
- After placing your order, it’s ok to reward yourself so relax with Request!
We hope that this friendly Request advice has helped a little. We look forward to serving you!
